Homemade apple juice. It was gone almost as soon as I made it; it tasted that great. lol.

To make it, mix two tablespoons of sugar with three tablespoons of water. If you’d like to use it on your body as well as your face, add more sugar and water until you get the desired consistency.
Use your fingers to massage the scrub onto your face. Move your fingers in small circular motions. Rinse with warm water.

How to Get More Sleep
Watch what you drink. Limit your caffeine intake during the day, avoid it in the evening. Try to steer clear of alcohol too. While it can put you to sleep initially, it metabolizes quickly, causing withdrawal symptoms, so it can actually cause you to wake up frequently later on in the night. Drink Chamomile instead.
Unwind. Allow yourself to relax later in the evening to prepare your body and mind for sleep. Dim the lights, turn off the TV and computer. Meditate or read a book.
Make a routine. Anyone with a toddler knows that having a bedtime routine helps their child get to bed easier and have a better night of sleep. Well, it’s true for adults too. This goes along with the unwinding. If you go to bed and wake up at the same time each day, you’ll be prepared to fall asleep because your body is used to the same consistent routine.
Exercise regularly. Research shows that those who exercise regularly are less anxious and catch more Zzzz’s.
Eat healthy. Try to eat a balanced diet; eat lots of fruit, veggies, whole grains and lean meats. Avoid greasy food.

Free Ask Buttons
I was bored while Nicolas was taking a nap, so I made these cute ask buttons. If you’d like to use one for your blog, you can download the sets below. Unzip the file once you download it to get the images and then delete the colors you don’t want.
Set no. 1
Set no. 2
If you need help on putting them up, send me an ask with the theme you’re using. If you want a button in a different color to match your theme, hit me up. If you want me to do a custom design for your blog, go here.
*I do offer custom designs for free, if you’re short on cash. Read the bottom of the page for more info on that.*
I’ve had low self esteem to the point where I wouldn’t even leave my house, so yeah-in a way, I have.

Free Navigation Buttons
You can use these free buttons I created on your blog by clicking on your choice of color below to download the zip folders. Note: To get the buttons after you download them, you will need to unzip the folder on your computer.
Deep Pink/Purple/Light Blue/Black/Gray
If you need instructions on how to add these to your blog, click here.

If you want navigation buttons on your blog, like the light blue ones above, follow these simple steps.
1. Upload your first button to Tinypic. Or upload it on Tumblr. Do not upload anything that won’t be used for your theme if using Tumblr’s static upload. If you do so, you will be banned.
2. Write out the following code.
<a href=”URL”><img=”IMAGE LINK”></a>
3. Replace URL part in the code above with the URL of the page you want to link. For example:
-The home button would link to “/”
-The about button would maybe link to a static page, “/about”
-The ask button would link to “/ask”
-The archive button would link to “/archive”
-The FAQ button would maybe link to a static page, “/faq”
Note: you don’t have to put your full blog URL in your links, since you’ll be pasting the code into your edit HTML.
4. Replace the IMAGE LINK with the direct link for layouts from Tinypic or the link you get from Tumblr.
5. Go to edit HTML and paste the full code where you want your button to appear in your theme.
-If you want them immediately under your header image, paste them underneath <div id=”header”> and after your header URL. If your theme has a spot for your navigation, delete everything underneath that and replace it with your codes.
-If you want your buttons on your sidebar, paste them somewhere between <”div id=”sidebar”>and </div>. Then put <br> after each individual code.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 with all of your buttons. The codes should look something like this:

That’s a general how to. It might vary based on the theme you have. If you need any help, message me what theme you’re using and I’ll tell you how to do it!

We had an awesome Sunday together. We went to church in the morning, then we went to a farm with my father and eight year old sister.

Nicolas saw the Easter bunny at the farm. He smiled and said “hi.” When we put him on the person’s lap, though, he started crying. Once we took him off, he immediately stopped and waved bye as we walked away. He’s such a strange kids, sometimes. lol.

We all held baby animals. Rick had a thing for the baby rabbit.

When we got home after, the three of us colored eggs. Nicolas fell asleep too early to do it the night before. This was his first year actually participating. He was too young the last two times.

& of course, to finish the Easter tradition, we ate melted Peeps. Then we had dinner with my mother and stepfather.
This was probably one of our best Easter’s together.
The house we bought has an extra bedroom. Rick will have his “man cave” in the back of the house so this space will be my own. I’m going to make it my office/yoga/meditation room. I’m so excited, I’ve already started planning it out in my head.

The room is smallest bedroom in the house, so I want my desk to go into the closet to save space. I’ll be taking out the ugly mirror doors that are there now and putting up curtains so I can easily hide the desk whenever I want to meditate without distraction. I’ll use the wall space behind it for inspirational pictures and a scheduler.
I’m going to put a meditation nook in the farthest part of the room. I’m planning on using two body pillows for a make shift mattress. I’ll be sewing two body pillow cases together so they can’t get separated. Then I’ll line that up with throw pillows.

The rest of the room will be empty, just for yoga, save for some baskets I bought at Marshalls. I’m thinking I’ll put mirrors up and paint each wall a different color in the palette. Also, I’ve been looking at stenciling techniques. I want one wall to have some kind of design on it. I’m not sure what, yet.
Overall, this room is going to be awesome. I’ve always wanted a space to go to so I can get away and unwind.
Breakfast with Nicolas, hence the toddler bowl and spoon. lol.
I love Fridays…and Wednesdays. Rick has off on those days and we get to spend time as a family.

Today was beautiful. It’s really starting to look like spring. I wish it could stay this weather throughout the summer. I hate the heat and if I can’t have winter year round, I’d be okay with the early weeks of spring.

Since it was so nice out, we had a picnic at a park nearby. Once we finished eating, Nicolas rolled down the hills and went on the playground. Poor little guy tumbled down a slide that was a bit too big for him but as always, he got right back up and wanted to go back on it. Rick had to go down with him, lol.

Later in the day, we went shopping for more house stuff. We’re getting closer to closing. The appraisal’s done; now we’re just doing the waiting game. After our offer was accepted, they gave us an estimate closing date as April 15th. Not sure if it’s going to be pushed back or not-but, I am so ready to move in. I can’t wait.
